This is a song I wrote about a decade ago for a dear friend who turned his back on Jesus.

I can see it in the way that you walk that you’ve never been so lonely
I can see it in your eyes that the fire in your heart has long been out
I can see it in the things that you do that you know longer lover Him
So take some time to figure out, what your life is about

Are you happy with your life the way it is or would you change it?
Do you think that money and love and friends are all it takes?
Can you feel the emptiness in your heart and do you long to fill it
Well if you do, take some time to figure out, what your life is about

Do you want to go on living your life thinking that you came from nowhere
Do you think that by doing good God will save your soul
Will you go from day to day never knowing if there’s a heaven and if there is
Will you be there? And if there is will you be there?

Is your life filled with hope does your heart reflect your maker
Is there something in you life that’s not quite right and you need it changed
Well you can know today where you’ll be if you give your life to Jesus
He will never turn you away, He will never turn you away
